No Classes

For the first time in my remembered life, I didn't start fall classes. I didn't have a first day of school.

Initially, I missed the excitement of new school supplies, new people, and the opportunity to simply learn that comes with each school year. But as this week progressed, I was constantly reminded by each passing interaction and completed assignment that learning is not bound to a classroom. Learning is everywhere.

While I no longer make the weekday pilgrimage to a classroom, I learn, with every moment, from the world around me. The pursuit of knowledge is long-lived and, hopefully, lifelong.
