Spring Break Weekend

I spent the weekend in South Florida with my good friend, Ana, and we had a great time. We went out to Riverside in Fort Lauderdale, Lincoln Road, Miami Beach, Calle Oche for Versailles Cafe, Wynwood Walls, and a few other places. 

I've missed her terribly and I'm glad to have spent this time with her. She's like a younger sister to me and after talking about her internship experience this semester, it's clear she's grown personally and professionally over these past months.

Although I'm soon to graduate, we'll be sure to keep in touch. She's one of my favorite human beings.

Blog Name Change

I recently changed the name of my blog from stevenevens.me to evens.co . The change is slight, but recognizes that I'm no longer a one-man operation - I'm now part of a team. As life changes, so will this blog. And while I've sometimes struggled in finding topics about which to write, marriage brings an abundance of noteworthy and varied ideas. Hopefully, I'll have a few photos to share from the wedding in a few weeks, but until then, I've put together a rough outline of things I intend to write about. Having Dogs

As a kid, I'd never had a pet. The idea of having an animal roam about your home felt like a silly concept and a wasteful use of time and resources. Over the last few years with our two dogs, Sophie and Khloe, I've found enlightenment. Our dogs give us a lot of joy and companionship, particularly when either Caity or I would otherwise be home alone due to our work schedules or other outside commitments.  To end in the most cliché of ways – I couldn't imagine our life without our two furry family members.
