Why Vote for Access

Over the past three and a half years, I've been a part of Student Government in a variety of capacities. However, never have I felt so hopeful about the possibility for change within UF Student Government and the greater social structures at work within our institution of higher learning. The Access Party presents an opportunity to reform a system based on paternalism and cronyism while addressing the real concerns of UF students. Their platform includes online voting and access to Docutraq, the SG financial system, which I think are the two most effective ways to ensure ease of access and transparency.

The next two days will present you the opportunity to vote for your respective Senator(s) and the Executive Ticket, including the Student Body President, Student Body Vice President, and Student Body Treasurer. I'd encourage you to vote Access Party across the board if you believe in a fair system where every Gator matters.

To cast your ballot, visit one of the voting locations below on February 24 or 25.

  • Broward Hall Basement

  • Health Science Center C2-041C

  • Heavener Hall Academic Success Suite Room 202

  • Jennings Hall First Floor Library

  • Marston Science Library Main Room

  • Murphree Area Commons Conference Area Room 106

  • Norman Hall Education Library

I may not be officially affiliated with any of the on-campus political parties, but I know with absolute confidence that the Access Party is right choice. I ask that you make the right choice, too.
