Mentoring
I've given special attention to a specific type of relationship, mentee and mentor, over these past few years. In the collegiate environment, students often confuse mentoring for friendship. Casual conversations are always appropriate, but those serious conversations about the picture, big and small, shouldn't be fleeting moments.
Both the roles of mentee and mentor require active participation, whether that's having a question (mentee) or posing a question in a very specific way (mentor). While I've read a few articles on the topic, the article below is one of the best I've read in a long time. I hope you enjoy.
Have some coffee & stop worrying about finding a “mentor."
