November is Here
I haven't really sat down to reflect on the whirlwind of a semester it's been since it began. Here are some updates.
Before the Beginning
Preview ended in late July and I went home to visit friends, read good books, and recharge from the busy summer. I saw my good friend Jackie in Orlando for a day, which was really nice. I should do that kind of thing more often.
The Beginning
Classes started in mid to late August. At the time I was doing AFROTC and FLC recruitment, so any free moment I was given was dedicated to learning and growing through these commitments.
Somewhere in the Middle
In late September, we got our new FLC class. And I could not be happier. Each of our 53 new members is a necessary piece to puzzle, bringing together different passions and different experiences. If even one were to be taken away, the puzzle would not be complete.
Getting There
The rest of October was essentially exams and homework. I left AFROTC after eight weeks, realizing that it wasn't for me but better for it because I had at least tried and learned so much in the process.
Here
Now that November is here, there's about a month left. And a busy month it will be. But I'm looking forward to it.
