Flu Shot

If you have refrained from getting your annual flu shot purposely or inadvertently this season, it is my greatest desire that you dedicate the hour or less of time to ensure your health is protected from the malicious bugs going around this time of year. From seeing my roommate weakly conversing with an EMS armada to taking him to the Infirmary this morning, I implore you that you get the shot. It hurts only for a moment and the sooner you get it the better. It's even free for all you UF students reading.

A healthier you is a happier you. And if you're not willing to do it for yourself, do it for me and those around you. Flu shots offer a positive externality too.

Blog Name Change

I recently changed the name of my blog from stevenevens.me to evens.co . The change is slight, but recognizes that I'm no longer a one-man operation - I'm now part of a team. As life changes, so will this blog. And while I've sometimes struggled in finding topics about which to write, marriage brings an abundance of noteworthy and varied ideas. Having Dogs

As a kid, I'd never had a pet. The idea of having an animal roam about your home felt like a silly concept and a wasteful use of time and resources. Over the last few years with our two dogs, Sophie and Khloe, I've found enlightenment. Our dogs give us a lot of joy and companionship, particularly when either Caity or I would otherwise be home alone due to our work schedules or other outside commitments.  To end in the most cliché of ways – I couldn't imagine our life without our two furry family members.
