NaNoWriMoNational Novel Writing Month.


In preparation for National Novel Writing Month (November), I'll be posting daily throughout the month of October on varying topics of interests as well as journaling on my daily doings. If there any ideas you would like me to give focus, send me an email at steven@evenstoday.com and I'll be sure to address them.

Among the many things I will enjoy in this month of October, this challenge and cooler weather are somewhere at the top.

P.S. Good luck BRHSMBOP at your first competition of the season today. I can only imagine you'll do well and make this alumnus proud. I hope to see some pictures and maybe even a video if at all possible. I'd love to see the performance.

Blog Name Change

I recently changed the name of my blog from stevenevens.me to evens.co . The change is slight, but recognizes that I'm no longer a one-man operation - I'm now part of a team. As life changes, so will this blog. And while I've sometimes struggled in finding topics about which to write, marriage brings an abundance of noteworthy and varied ideas. Hopefully, I'll have a few photos to share from the wedding in a few weeks, but until then, I've put together a rough outline of things I intend to write about. Having Dogs

As a kid, I'd never had a pet. The idea of having an animal roam about your home felt like a silly concept and a wasteful use of time and resources. Over the last few years with our two dogs, Sophie and Khloe, I've found enlightenment. Our dogs give us a lot of joy and companionship, particularly when either Caity or I would otherwise be home alone due to our work schedules or other outside commitments.  To end in the most cliché of ways – I couldn't imagine our life without our two furry family members.
