Prom 2011

I have never had so much fun.

I recently went to my high school prom on May 14, 2011 with a girl I'm falling in love with. Her name is Ashley Hall. Preparation for the occasion began weeks ago when I began looking for a date. However, I didn't have to look too hard because I asked my girlfriend. Following, I had to purchase tickets, make dinner reservations, order a corsage, and have my tuxedo dry-cleaned. Anyone has been to prom knows the event takes some serious planning.

On the day of prom, I cleaned and gassed my car, picked up her corsage and energy drinks to fuel our after-prom activities, and did homework just to keep my busy as I waited for night to arrive. I got dressed, took a few pictures with my mother, and headed to her house with my mother following in her own car to take pictures there. How upset was I to discover that I forgot to bring the corsage. Luckily, my mom was on hand and quickly went home to pick it up and return.

We took some wonderful pictures at her house and drove quickly to the Mattison's Riverside (Twin Dolphins) in downtown Bradenton for dinner. Though we were fifteen minutes late (the reservation was made for 6:30 PM), we were seated quickly and ate a delicious meal. I had the stuffed chicken and she had the chicken penne pasta. Both were divine.

We then walked to the Bradenton Auditorium to dance the night away. The Prom King was Andrew Schmidt the Prom Queen was Alanna Condren. I'll be honest, my dancing was intense and perhaps a little freaky. But I've never had so much fun.

After prom, Ashley and I went to the beach.

After the beach, we headed to her house. There, we departed for the evening. I got home at 2:17 AM, my new record. I will always remember my senior prom night.
